Positive reviews from the 2012 Suffolk Sunrise 100

On 13 May 2012, just under 1,000 riders set out on either a 100km or 100-mile cycle ride through the Suffolk countryside to raise vital funds for Action Medical Research in the Suffolk Sunrise 100 sportive ride.

The weather was as good as could for our cyclists with the rainy weather gone, the sun was out and the day warmed up nicely.

Bruce McEwen of the North Norfolk Wheelers posted his thoughts on the Suffolk ride on the North Norfolk Wheelers website.

"Suffolk was a useful challenge this year over a delightful course through a picturesque  landscape, all the better for that sunny break in the weather."

Positive reviews also came in from Spring Agency who also completed the Suffolk Sunrise 100.
"A worthy cause and a great day out, both Simon and Lucy thoroughly enjoyed the Suffolk Sunrise 100."

The Deben Cyclist also took part in the Suffolk Sunrise as their first sportive, taking on the shorter 100km route.
"I started, I finished and I got a medal. The organisation was excellent, the signage perfect, the riders friendly and the food stops well stocked. The weather was kind and the scenery beautiful. I had a brilliant day and I watched some of the 100 mile riders finishing and wondered if I want to go further next time."
